NEPSE increases by 63.01 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 63.01 points on Tuesday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2679.95 points.

A total of 9.11 million shares of 234 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.32 billion.

Of the total 13 subgroups traded, the share of 11 sub-group increased today. Production and manufacture sub-group declined by 0.59 percent while other sub-segments declined by 0.34 percent.

The development Bank subgroup has increased the most. This subgroup has increased by 5.23 percent.

The finance sub-segment increased by 3.71 percent, while the commercial bank sub-segment increased by 3.61 percent, the investment sub-segment by 3.14 percent, and the hydropower sub-segment by 3.11 percent.

In terms of turnover, Nepal Bangladesh Bank topped the list on Tuesday.

The company had a turnover of over Rs 147.7 million on Tuesday. The shares of Bangladesh Bank increased by 1.86 percent followed by Nabil Bank. Nabil Bank had a turnover of over Rs 130 million.

The highest earners are investors from Shree Investment Finance and Saptakoshi Development Bank. Investors in the company have earned by 10 percent. Similarly, Bhotekoshi investors have earned 9.99 percent. Investors in Nepal SBI Bank and Sindhu Development Bank also earned over 9 percent today.
