US Embassy releases promo on American education

KATHMANDU: American Embassy in Kathmandu has released its first episode of GuffGaff on education in the United States of America. A 24-second promo has been prepared with the aim of informing the Nepali students on the American universities and education including how to make preparations, test and visa processes.

Answering the question asked by Prachi, a student,  American Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry says, “The students first ask about the student visas but in fact the preparation for studying in American is much more longer.”

Berry, in the promo, encourages the perspective students to visit either American Embassy or the American Education Center and talk to Education USA Advisers for accurate information about the American education.

The US offers over 4,000 high quality colleges and universities and Nepali students are studying in the US at record numbers. In the chit-chat video, Prachi, a student asks diplomat Berry a question what suggestions do you have for those aspiring to study in American universities.

The students who want to meet EducationUSA advisors, can visit USEF-Nepal EducationUSA Advising Center at https://www.facebook.com/usef.nepal/ to learn about their services, said the video.
