Four members of a family die of suffocation in Nepalgunj



NEPALGUNJ: Four members of the same family have died of suffocation in Nepalgunj.

Three others have been injured because of the charcoal that they were burning to heat the room.

According to the police, the victims died on Wednesday night due to suffocation.

Four members of the family of Dharma Prasad Bhattarai, who was working as an office assistant at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj, died in the quarter.

The deceased have been identified as Dharma Prasad Bhattarai, his three-month-old son Isan, mother Kopila and sister Nandakali, police said.

Dharma Prasad’s wife Sushila, three-year-old son Diwas and brother Narendra were injured, and are undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital.
