Maoist General Convention: Outcome of group discussion to be announced today



KATHMANDU: The outcome of the Group discussions of the Maoist Center will be presented at the Maoist General Convention.

The findings of the group discussions of the political report submitted by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” on Monday will be tabled at the closed session.

In the ongoing eighth General Convention of the Maoist Center, 25 groups have been formed to discuss Chairman Dahal’s political report and Dev Gurung’s legislative amendment proposal.

One group was given 15 minutes to make a decision.

Meanwhile, leader Ram Karki has submitted a report with dissident views. The delegates of the General Convention will also have an opinion on Karki’s report.

The general convention of the Maoists started on Sunday. The General Convention will elect new leadership for the next five years.
