Fire guts 3 houses, property worth Rs 5 mln



PANCHTHAR: Three houses made of wood and stone of were gutted in a fire that broke out in Panchthar district on Tuesday night.

The fire burnt out the houses belonging to local Purna Bahadur Kerung in Phalelung village municipality-3 of Panchthar.

It is estimated that there was a loss of around Rs 5 million including clothes, food and cash in the house.

According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, the fire may have started due to an electrical short.
