25 groups presenting comments on Prachanda’s political dossier today



KATHMANDU: Twenty-five groups are submitting their comments and suggestions on the political dossier presented by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda at the closed session of the Eight General Convention of the party today.

The group leader will present the report based on the comments and suggestions given by the representatives of their respective group in the closed session that is scheduled to start at 1 pm at Nepal Academy Hall.

Every group leader will be given 15 minutes to present their reports, said central member Hem Raj Bhandari.

“Representatives were divided into 25 groups to dwell on the political dossier of Chairman Prachanda on Tuesday. There have been positive and negative comments on the dossier,” said Bhandari.

Maoist Center leader Ram Karki has presented an elaborate report. Comments and suggestions made by the representatives range from imperialism to strict punishment for those involved in sexual immorality to the scrapping of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).

Chairman will answer the questions after listening to all the comments presented by the group leaders.

According to Bhandari, Chairman Prachanda will listen to the comments and suggestions today and might give his answers on Thursday.

The central working committee (CWC) of the party will be elected only after Chairman Prachanda finishes answering all the questions raised during the discussion.

The Eighth General Convention of the party which started on Sunday will come to an end on Thursday.
