CPN Masal (Liaison Center) unites with Maoist Center

Regressive forces working to reverse achievements from people’s struggles: Dahal

KATHMANDU: The CPN Masal (Liaison Center) has united with the CPN (Maoist Center).

At a unity assembly in Kathmandu Friday, Maoist Center Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Masal (Liaison Center) Coordinator Lokendra Lamsal announced the unification between two parties.

In his address to the gathering, Maoist Chair Prachanda insisted on the need of unity among the Communist forces to defeat a foul play of regressive forces in the nation.

“Regressive forces are trying to invalidate the achievements of people’s struggles. Conspiracies are being hatched to overturn the republic system as the feudalistic force that was defeated by the people’s war are provoking the regression,” he said.

“Parties in favor of progression and revolutionary and leftist forces are being united,” he said, adding that the achievements of people’s sacrifices would never be allowed to be reversed. “We have no ground of being confident of the protection of historic accomplishments,” the leader said.

Similarly, Masal (Liaison Center) Coordinator Lamsal said the objective between two the parties was for stepping towards the establishment of scientific socialism. As he informed the gathering, the Liaison Center has its organizations in 39 districts and liaison offices in six districts.
