Maoist Center holding Standing Committee meeting today

To dwell on political dossier



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Standing Committee (SC) of the CPN (Maoist Center) is being held at the central party office in Paris Danda today.

The SC meeting will discuss the political report prepared by party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda.

The first national conference of the Maoist Center is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on January 25.

Party spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara has informed that the political document to be presented at the same national conference and other issues will be discussed in the meeting.

According to Mahara, the members of the SC will give suggestions on the political report prepared by Prachanda in the meeting.

It is learnt that the Chairman Prachanda will give a final touch to the political dossier by incorporating the suggestions the SC members.
