UML Chair Oli bats for polls in all three levels



PARSA: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has urged the government to immediately announce the dates for the election in all three levels.

At a program organized by the party in Parsa today, the UML chief said that an outlet to the country should be given by conducting election for all three layers of the government.

On the occasion, Oli said that country’s development and prosperity was only likely from modernization of agriculture and electricity generation, adding, that the government’s attention should be oriented to that end.

During the event, Oli was garlanded with a garland of 151 kilograms. He arrived in Jagarnathpur Rural Municipality to welcome the new entrants into the UML.

Jagarnathpur Rural Municipality Chairman Jalim Miya and many other politicians joined the UML. Miya was elected the rural municipality chair from the Maoist Center in the local level election held some five years ago.
