HoR meeting taking place today

MCC not in agenda



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is taking place today.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwor at 1 pm, according to the federal parliament secretariat.

Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand will table an ordinance on Nepal Police, Province Police (Work Execution, Supervision and Coordination) (first amendment), 2078 in the meeting for endorsement. However, there is  no Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in the agenda items in today’s meeting.

Main opposition CPN-UML has been continuously disrupting the meetings.

However, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has been conducting the meetings ignoring the UML protest.
