Fire destroys property worth over Rs 30.5 million in Indreni Complex



KATHMANDU: A fire in the sixth floor of a commercial complex at New Baneshwor, Kathmandu gutted property worth over Rs 30.5 million on Monday.

The fire, according to police’s preliminary investigation, erupted due to a short circuit in a power inverter in the fitness and spa center on the sixth floor of the Indreni complex.

Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali at the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, said the fire has been doused by five fire brigades called in from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.
