Govt ready to hold dialogue with UML for ending House obstruction



KATHMANDU: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dilendra Prasad Badu, has said the government was ready to sit for talks and dialogues with the main opposition CPN-UML regarding the obstruction of the Parliament.

Talking to media following his exit from the meeting of House of Representatives today, the Minister said the UML had recently concluded its 10th national congress and the NC’s General Convention was about to over.

“An atmosphere of consensus will be forged through mutual talks following the completion of the NC General Convention.”

As he stated, today’s meeting just saw the tabling of an ordinance and an atmosphere will be built to end the parliament deadlock and ensure deliberations on important bills like the Civil Service Bill.
