KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and presidential candidate in the ongoing 14th General Convention of the party Dr. Shekhar Koirala has accused Prime Minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba of abusing the state power in the general convention.
Speaking to the reporters at the Convention site at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, on Monday, leader Koirala said that incumbent President has misused the state power.
“Everyone can notice the abuse of state power here (at the convention site),” he said, “Whoever is in power is misusing the power unethically at the election site of the party’s 14th General Convention.”
Along with Koirala, Kalyan Gurung, Bimalendra Nidhi, Prakash Man Singh and PM Deuba are contesting for the NC presidential post in the general convention.
