UML shuffles leadership in all provinces



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has shuffled its leadership in all the provinces.

The UML Central Committee meeting held Sunday rejigged the leadership of the seven provinces.

Accordingly, Tulasi Neupane has been picked as chairperson, Tika Chemjong as vice chairperson, Chintan Pathak as secretary, and Dhan Tamang and Shailesh Lama as the joint secretaries in Province 1.

Similarly, Ram Avatar Yadav is picked as chair, Rewati Pant as vice chair, Dr. Krishna Poudel as secretary, and Farmud Nadav and Aarti Bhandari as joint secretaries in Province 2.

In Bagmati Province, Keshav Pandey is the chair, Ram Hari Subedi vice-chair, Bijay Subedi secretary, and Ratna Gurung and Mahesh Bartaula are joint secretaries.

Similarly, Nawaraj Sharma, Mohan Regmi, Dhananjay Dawadi, Manju Adhikari and Rashmi Acharya have been picked as chair, vice-chair, secretary and two joint secretaries respectively in Gandaki Province.

In Lumbini Province, Radhakrishna Kandel, Bhoj Prasad Shrestha, Laxman Acharya, Leela Rana and Durga Tharu have been selected as chair, vice-chair, secretary and two joint secretaries respectively.

Binosh Shah, Lal Bahadur Mahatara, Kamal Shahi, Rupa Shahi and Tekraj Pachai have been chosen as chair, vice-chair, secretary and joint secretaries respectively in Karnali Province.

Similarly, Damodar Bhandari, Kamal Timilsina, Dharmaraj Pathak, Baldev Regmi and Chabhgirathi Yogi have been nominated in Sudurpaschim Province.

Prem Prasad Parajuli, Bidur Karki, Samir Nepal, Urmila Sunuwar and Chandra Rijal have been selected as chair, vice chair, secretary and joint secretaries respectively in the UML’s Valley Special Committee.
