NC general Convention: Candidates’ withdrawal time extended by an hour and a half



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) Central Election Committee has extended the time for withdrawal of the candidates by an hour and a half.

Secretary of the Central Election Committee Keshav Rijal said that the nomination can be withdrawn till 12:30 pm.

According to him, only one candidate has withdrawn his candidature so far.

Jangilal Ray, who had given his candidature from Province No. 2, has withdrawn his candidature.

He said that Ananda Prasad Dhungana and Ramesh Rijal were elected unopposed as central members from Province No. 2.
