DHADING: One person was killed and two others injured when a motorcycle and a scooter collided near Bihani Pump of Gajuri Rural Municipality Ward No. 2 on the Prithvi Highway Sunday morning.
The accident took place when a motorcycle (Ba 44 Pa 9836) and a scooter (Ba 63 Pa 4834) collided head-on and the motorcycle was hit by in-coming truck (Na 6 Kha 749), said Jageshwar Bhandari, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.
The deceased has been identified as Suk Bahadur Chepang, 33, of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-10.
The injured have been identified as Surendra Waiba, 25, of Siddhalek Rural Municipality -1 and Sonam Ghale, 28, of Gajuri.
Traffic was blocked for an hour after the accident on the highway.
Traffic has been restored after the removal of vehicles that met with the accident.
