Oli, Prachanda and Madhav Nepal share the same platform; PM Deuba in the middle

KATHMANDU: Leaders of three major communist parties, who have come to the point of denying each other’s existence after the Nepal Communist Party split into three parties, have sat on the platform of the inaugural session of the Nepali Congress’ 14th General Convention in Kathmandu, Friday.

UML Chairperson KP Oli, CPN-Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN-Unified Socialist Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal were present on the same platform at the inauguration ceremony.

While Oli sat to the right of NC President Deuba, Prachanda and Nepal sat to the left of PM Deuba.

Oli and Prachanda had not met for the last couple of months.

They have been criticizing one another in public forums.
