Democratic, stable and inclusive Nepal is Indian National Congress’ priority: General Secretary Wasnik



KATHMANDU: Mukul Wasnik, leader of the Indian National Congress has said that a democratic, stable and inclusive Nepal is always in priority of India and the Indian National Congress party.

“Promulgation of the Constitution of Nepal in 2015 was an important development to consolidate multi-party democracy in Nepal,” he said at the inaugural session of the 14th General Convention of Nepali Congress in Kathmandu, Friday.

He said regular visits at the topmost leaders of the Nepali Congress and Indian National Congress have further strengthened the ties between the two countries.

He also recalled India’s commitment and support for Nepal’s democratic movement Nepal.
