Two killed in Pokhara truck accident



POKHARA: Two people have been killed in a truck accident that occurred at Bijayapur in Kaski district.

An ill-fated truck, Lu 2 Kha 2948, turned turtle on the sewerage after it went out of control on Friday morning.

The deceased have been identified as truck driver Bhim Bahadur Tamang, 42, of Lamjung district and his co-driver, informed District Police Office, Kaski.

Driver Tamang and his co-driver, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, died after being crushed by iron rods the truck the ferrying to Pokhara from Birgunj.

Police said they are investigating the case.
