NEPSE decreases by 37.18 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 37.18 points on Tuesday.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2508.90 points.

A total of 8.33 million shares of 231 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 3.12 billion.

Out of 13 sub-groups of NEPSE, all sub-groups except trade and mutual funds have declined. The sub-indices of banking group decreased by 13.55 points,  development bank by 140.95 points, hydropower by 74.69 points, finance by 90.08 points, non-life insurance by 160.98 points, life insurance by 73.94 points, production and processing by 92.03 points and sub-index of microfinance group have declined by 72.56 points.

ICFC Finance’s share price fell the most at 7.65 percent today.

Since then, shares of Kalika Microfinance and Synergy Power have fallen more than 6 percent.

Prime Commercial Bank tops the list in terms of the transaction amount. More than 120 million shares of the bank have been bought and sold. More than 100 million shares of Mahalakshmi Development Bank and Api Power have been bought and sold today.
