RPP Chair Lingden to assume office today



KATHMANDU: Newly-elected Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rajendra Lingden is assuming office on Monday.

He is scheduled to assume the office in Dhumbarahi today.

Lingden defeated Kamal Thapa and became the chairman of RPP.

As soon as he won the party Chairmanship, Lingden had said that the country now needs a monarchy, and that the party would raise that agenda under his leadership.
