“Narayani, Rapti, Riu rivers, the Chitwan National Park and religious tourist destinations that are based in Chitwan are good tools for development of the district.” These tourist destinations have also been a model for a national level economic development and they would attract domestic and foreign tourists, he said.

Development of the Narayani river through the sea-beach model would play an important role in the utilization of tourism, beauty and water resources of the area, the former Prime Minister expressed the hope.

He stressed the need for developing tourist destinations of the area like Sentosa in Singapore.
Stating that Chitwan has been a centre of politics of the country, he said the district would be developed so people across the country throng here for further studies.
