UML to hold first meeting of newly elected Central Committee in Sauraha



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML’s first meeting of the Central Committee that gets elected from the party’s 10th General Convention is set to be held in Sauraha of Chitwan.

The newly elected UML Central Committee will hold its first meeting in Sauraha following the announcement of final results by the party’s Election Committee, said leader Bishnu Rijal. Central members would also be sworn in on the occasion.

Voting for the new leadership of the CPN-UML was held on Tuesday morning. The results of the voting conducted through electronic machine will be announced Tuesday itself.

Voting has been held for the posts of chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary and open central members.
