Sabuj Baniya elected NC Kathmandu President



KATHMANDU: Sabuj Baniya has been elected as the President of Nepali Congress (NC), Kathmandu.

Baniya emerged victorious by securing a large number of votes against his closest rival Upendra Karki.

Elected Baniya is considered close to NC leaders Prakash Man Singh and Gagan Thapa.

Karki is from the Deuba panel.
