UML treading on a regressive course: Dr. Bhattarai

BUTWAL: Janata Samajwadi Party Federal Council President Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has accused the UML of being an obstacle to the progressive movement.

Speaking at a program in Butwal on Sunday, Bhattarai said that the UML established itself as a “regressive” party from the time when the then Prime Minister KP Oli dissolved the House of Representatives in December last year.

He said that UML Chairman Oli was leading the regression by pushing the country towards political complexity.

“The ongoing UML General Convention in Chitwan has confirmed that the party has been moving towards regression,” he added.

“Democratic values are being eroded in the country. Politics has been done with power and interests at the center. The country is in a stalemate,” he added.
