Central member Yadav falls unconscious at General Convention site



CHITWAN: CPN-UML central member Lal Babu Yadav, who came from Rautahat for the 10th general convention in Chitwan, has fallen unconscious due to unmanageable crowd at the convention site.

According to UML sources, Yadav is undergoing treatment at the health care unit after falling unconscious before the start of the closed session on Saturday.

“Yadav fell unconscious while accessing to the party’s closed session site, now he is out of danger,” a leader said.

Leaders, activists and representatives have already arrived at the Seven Star Hotel premises in Sauraha, Chitwan for the upcoming closed session.

Roads and streets have been disturbed by leaders, activists and rallies. Here, even the leaders seem to be in a dilemma.

2175 delegates will participate in the closed session.

A legislative amendment proposal has been prepared to increase the number of office bearers and central members for unanimous leadership selection.

Despite the claim to let the free contest of the leaders aspiring for the leadership, Chairman Oli is striving his best to select leadership ‘unanimously’.
