KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has canceled a water tourism promotional boating program of Chairperson KP Sharma Oli on Friday — the first day of 10th UML general convention that kicked off this morning in Chitwan.
Chair Oli was scheduled to travel to the general convention site from Gaidakot on an electric boat through the Narayani River to promote water tourism on the inaugural day of party’s 10th General Convention.
However, the program was canceled in view of security reasons, said party office, Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang.
