Former Minister Pun flown to China from Bangkok

Pun's health condition further deteriorates



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center leader and former Minister Barsha Man Pun ‘Ananta’ has been taken to China for treatment after his health condition deteriorated further.

Pun, who was being treated in Bangkok, Thailand, has been taken to Third People’s Hospital in Shenzhen, China for further treatment. The leader along with his wife Onsari Gharti Magar and daughter Shila Pun flew from Bangkok on Friday morning.

Leader Pun was admitted to Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand on September 29 for the treatment of jaundice.

According to sources, the level of jaundice has increased from 18 to 22 while undergoing treatment in Bangkok. Leader Pun has been taken to China after jaundice started affecting other parts of his body.
