NC Chitwan district convention to be held after Dec 3

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) Chitwan district convention has been postponed.

NC has stated that the convention has been postponed due to the 10th General General Convention of CPN-UML.

NC Chitwan District President Jit Narayan Shrestha informed that the decision to postpone the convention was taken due to traffic congestion.

“It has been decided to postpone the district convention for a few days as there will be problems in transportation and accommodation of the cadres,” he said.

The district working committee has written a letter to the election committee to hold the district convention only after the convention of the seven states scheduled for December 2 to 3.

According to the leaders, it has been recommended to hold the district convention after December 3 as the delegates of the general conventions of the states and the centre have already been elected.
