KATHMANDU: In an attempt to garner further support against Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana, the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) on Monday has handed over a memorandum to Speaker Agni Sapkota.
According to sources, NBA submitted a memorandum demanding impeachment of Chief Justice Rana. The memorandum has details of the ongoing agitation in the Supreme Court and NBA’s concerns for strengthening the court.
NBA sought Speaker Sapkota’s facilitation to draw the attention of the parliament to the question raised against Chief Justice Rana.
NBA team had reached the Parliament Secretariat to meet Speaker Sapkota at 2 PM.
