JSP holding Executive Committee meeting today

KATHMANDU: Ruling Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal is holding a meeting of the party’s Executive Committee today.

The meeting to be held at the party’s central office will discuss the party’s role in the government, current issues and future strategy, said office chief Prakash Adhikari.

According to him, today’s meeting will also decide on the clarification of lawmaker Pradip Yadav elected from Parsa.

There was a demonstration in Parsa in favor of Yadav in the district alleging the party leadership of not appointing him as a minister during which party Chairman Upendra Yadav’s effigy and the party flag were burnt.

The party leadership, meanwhile, had sought an explanation from Yadav alleging him for provoking the party cadres.
