NC holding central election committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: A central election committee meeting of the Nepali Congress is taking place today.

The meeting will be held at the central party office in Sanepa at 1 pm.

Ward conventions are taking place in the remaining wards since November 13 and the regional convention will be held on Friday.

Today’s meeting will dwell on the complaints arriving from various places and the coordination in those places where the conventions are yet to be held.

The convention is yet to be held in two wards in Sindhupalchwok and in some wards in Rasuwa. The NC has scheduled to hold its 14th General Convention from December 10 to 12.

The NC has finished holding district conventions in 14 districts and preparations are underway to conduct in the remaining districts by November 26.
