Sharma has said transformation in the party was a prerequisite for the transformation of the country. He emphasized the need for modified management of the domestic life of the party and its affiliates for the transformation of the party.

In the concept paper, he stated, “After the 14th General Convention, the NC should address and lead the country with the highest level of thinking and efficient leadership that possesses the relevant ideology, political capital, capability and clean image by ensuring that development projects are free from the conflict of wrong political intentions.”
