Tilottama in Rupandehi to be declared a children-friendly municipality

BUTWAL: The municipality of Tilottama in Rupandehi has intensified preparations to declare it as a children-friendly municipality.

With this, the Tilottama municipality would be declared the first children-friendly town out of 16 local levels of Rupandehi district.

In order to declare a children-friendly municipality, 100 percent achievement has to be achieved in 38 out of 51 indicators.

There is a provision to declare a children-friendly municipality if a five-year strategic plan and commitment is made with the commitment to continue the indicator with 100 percent achievement and to bring the 95, 90 and 80 percent achievement indicator to 100 percent.
