Nepal Bar Association writes to 19 SC judges urging them to boycott benches assigned by chief justice



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Bar Association has sent separate letters to the 19 judges of the Supreme Court urging them not to attend the benches assigned by Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.

Nepal Bar General Secretary Lila Mani Poudel said that they had sent letters to all the 19 SC judges. “We have sent a letter requesting the judges not to sit in the courtroom and not to hear the case assigned by the chief justice as we have made serious allegations against him and demanded his resignation,” he said.

According to Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association Rishi Ram Ghimire, all the judges are requested not to cooperate with the Chief Justice.
