Demonstration held against recent price hike in petroleum products



KATHMANDU: Students from various political parties have held a demonstration against the recent price hike in petroleum products in Kathmandu Sunday.

Students staged the demonstration by carrying LPG cylinders from Ratna Rajyalaxmi Campus at Exhibition Road in Kathmandu. Various writings were pasted on the cylinder.

Demonstrators demanded revoking the price hike in petroleum products and the dismissal of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) Executive Director Surendra Poudel.

Student unions have continued protests after the NOC recently hiked the price of petroleum products, including cooking gas.
