Central members of Unified Socialist take oath of office

Central Committee meeting begins



KATHMANDU: Central members of CPN-Unified Socialist have taken oath of office at the second plenary Central Committee meeting held in Sanepa Saturday.

The Unified Socialist has formed a 335-member Central Committee.

Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal administered the oath of office to the central members. After oath-taking ceremony, Chairman Nepal began his inaugural address.

The first meeting of the Central Committee of the party has started after the Central Committee got full shape.

According to party leader Jagannath Khatiwada, the main agenda of the CC meeting will be the expansion of the organization, review of the government’s work, party’s participation and role in the government, the ongoing crisis in the judiciary, among others.

The two-day CC meeting will continue until tomorrow.
