Gandhi urges Congress workers not to trust exit poll findings

NEW DELHI: India’s Congress President Rahul Gandhi has urged his party men to remain cautious and alert after the Supreme Court and Election Commission (EC) rejected the party’s demand of 100 percent random physical counting of EVM-VVPAT in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls.

Gandhi wrote on Twitter saying that the ‘next 24 hours are important’ while asking his party supporters to remain cautious and alert.

He also asked the Congress workers not to believe in the exit poll results asking them not to be disappointed with the propaganda of fake exit polls.

He urged them to ‘have trust’ in the Congress party and themselves saying that the hard work will not go waste.

The exit polls have shown a comfortable win for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the recently concluded elections. (Agencies)
