Prachanda-Madhav colluded against me after new map of country released: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Prachanda-Madhav Nepal began colluding with the Nepali Congress (NC) and foreigners after his government released a map of the country by incorporating Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani.

Addressing a program organized by UML Sindhupalchok-Kathmandu Liaison Forum Saturday, UML Chair Oli said that he was accused of spoiling relations with India by issuing the map. He also remarked that these leaders (Prachanda-Madhav) possessed the mentality of Lhendup Dorjee, the first Chief Minister of Sikkim after Sikkim’s union with India.

Oli said, “When the map was printed, not only their hearts but also chests were torn apart and their internal organs popped out. They said KP Oli ruined relations with a neighbor.” He went on and questioned, “If so, what do they want me to do? I should abandon our land to better relations?”

“Those who said that the relationship was ruined when we printed the map are of Lhendup Dorjee mentality. The same persons said that we will form a comfortable government by removing KP Oli.”

Stating that the ruling coalition led the current government’s nationalism was revealed in the recent Mahakali Tuin case wherein Indian security forces cut the rope that led to Jay Singh Dhami’s disappearance, Oli said during that time the Home Ministry threatened people not to oppose India.

Oli also said that whenever he had to visit the hospital for treatment purposes, Prachanda-Madhav seemed happy as a glow could be seen on their faces but after he returns, emotions on their faces revealed gloom.
