CoAS Sharma to go on official visit to India on Nov 9

KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) of Nepali Army General Prabhuram Sharma is set to go on an official visit to India on November 9.

A meeting of the cabinet held Thursday approved CoAS General Sharma’s India visit.

General Sharma is scheduled to leave for India to receive the honorary title of General of the Indian Army. He will return home on November 12.

The cabinet meeting also decided to promote Major General Saroj Pratap Rana to Lieutenant General, said government Spokesperson and Communications Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
