NEPSE increases by 87.63 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 87.63 points on Monday.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2672.25 points.

A total of 8.39 million shares of 229 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.30 billion.

The shares of all groups have increased today. Shares of Banking Group increased by 37 points, Hotel by 81 points, Development Bank by 301 points, Hydropower by 200 points, and Finance by 176 points.

Similarly, shares of the non-life insurance group increased by 467 points, microfinance by 121 points, and shares of the life insurance group by 537 points.

Today, shares of 17 companies have increased by 10 percent. However, shares of Shangri-La Development Bank debentures decreased four percent today.
