NC leader Thapa “displeased” with government’s functioning



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa has expressed dissatisfaction over the government’s performance.

Thapa expressed dissatisfaction over the government’s failure to accelerate the works.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu Friday, he said, “This government has not been able to catch up with the pace it should have.”

He said, “We are afraid whether we are wasting another opportunity. We still have some opportunities ahead of us.”

Leader Thapa also drew the attention of the government not to miss the opportunity to take advantage of the two neighboring countries India and China.

“All the economic activities in the world are focused on China and India. We are close to them,” he added.
