Home Minister Khand directs to rescue stranded foreigners



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed to rescue foreign tourists stranded in various places of the country due to floods and landslides.

Home Minister Khand directed Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, National Investigation Department, and Nepali Army to immediately rescue foreign tourists stranded in various parts of the country.

“You have been working for the rescue, rehabilitation and search operations as well as distribution programs for those affected by the floods and landslides triggered by incessant rains. Now, pay your attention to the foreign tourists stranded in various parts the country,” said Home Minister Khand.

Foreigners who came to Nepal for a and to scale mountain peaks have been stranded after the post-monsoon battered the Himalayan country.
