42 injured in Nawalparasi bus accident



KATHMANDU: At least 42 persons were hurt when a passenger bus skidded off the road and overturned in a forest between Arunkhola and Dumkibas in Madhyabindu municipality-10 in Nawalparasi East along the East-West Highway today.

Of the injured, 37 were receiving treatment at District Hospital and five others at a local health post at Dumkibas, said the police.

All of the injured are said to be out of danger. The bus (Lu 1 Kha 9476) was en route to Kathmandu from Nawalparasi.
