Industry Minister Hamal assumes office



KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gajendra Bahadur Hamal has assumed office by reaching the Ministry Friday.

While assuming charge of the Ministry, Hamal said he would execute his duties based on his experience. He expressed commitment to move ahead with the support of all sides, including Ministry officials. Minister Hamal, who became Minister from the Nepali Congress (NC), added that he did a lot of work by joining the NC.

On the occasion, he also said that discussions would be held to operate industries shut for long.

After taking the oath at President’s Office and attending a cabinet meeting at the office of Prime Minister, Minister Hamal reached the Ministry to assume office.
