Govt says there is no truth over allegation concerning Chief Justice and cabinet



KATHMANDU: The government has said that there is no truth over the allegation that Chief Justice sought a seat in the Council of Ministers.

At the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting Friday, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) lawmaker Prem Suwal drew the attention of the government towards the allegation concerning the Chief Justice.

Clarifying lawmaker Suwal, government Spokesperson and Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Karki said the allegation contained no truth and the issue deserved no merit. He urged all not to believe in such illusions.
