Rajendra Shrestha, Ram Sahaya Yadav, Renu Yadav and Pramod Sah becoming ministers from JSP

KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav is not participating as a minister in the government.

Yadav will not participate in the cabinet after Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba decided not to keep the post of Deputy Prime Minister.

The JSP has finalized the name of ministers to participate in the government. According to a JSP leader, Rajendra Shrestha, Ram Sahaya Yadav, Renu Yadav and Pramod Sah are becoming ministers.

However, their ministerial portfolios are still yet to be fixed. Similarly, JSP has been given the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock Development, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Ministry of Forests and Environment as per the agreement reached among coalition parties.

“The name of ministers has been almost finalized. Their names are yet to be made public officially,” said JSP leader.

JSP Chairman Yadav, leaders Dr Baburam Bhattaria and senior leader Ashok Rai had been entrusted to finalize the name of ministers.
