KATHMANDU: CPN-Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Nepal has said KP Oli was transforming the CPN-UML into his private company.
Stating that individualism was prevailing in the UML at a program of inducting UML leader Bhanubhakta Joshi into the Unified Socialist in Kathmandu Thursday, Chairman Nepal said Oli had started making the UML a private company. He argued that leaders were defecting from the UML after concluding that Oli would not amend his ways.
Chairman Nepal said that UML Chairman Oli posed hurdles to the new journey of his party. He added the Unified Socialist faced the challenge of overcoming the propaganda Oli had been spreading against the Unified Socialist.
Joining the Unified Socialist, leader Joshi accused Oli of trying to dissolve the House of Representatives (HoR) by creating uneasy situation within the UML. He said that UML leaders and cadres were frustrated by the non-implementation of the 10-point agreement and he resigned from the party due to prejudice.
The Unified Socialist is preparing to make Joshi a Standing Committee member.
