EPL: Two matches taking place today

KATHMANDU: Two games are taking place under the Everest Premier League (EPL) Twenty20 cricket tournament today.

Chitwan Tigers captained by Sompal Kami is taking on Sharad Vesawkar-led Bhairahawa Gladiators in the first match. The tournament will take place at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on 9 am today.

Similarly, Binod Bhandari-led Pokhara Rhinos will play a match with Kathmandu Kings XI-captained by Sandeep Lamichhane in the second match. The match will start at 1 pm today.

Chitwan is atop the points table with eight points from four matches. Kathmandu in the fourth position with three points.

Pokhara will have a chance to reach the ply-off if it wins Kathmandu today. Biratnagar is already out of the league with only one point from five games.
