NC leaders KC and Dr. Koirala express solidarity with agitating leaders in Dadeldhura



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leaders Arjun Narsingh KC and Dr. Shekhar Koirala have expressed solidarity with party’s leaders and cadres who have staged relay strike over the party’s active membership dispute in Dadeldhura.

The two leaders along with Guru Raj Ghimire and Dr Govinda Raj Pokhrel, former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission, reached Dadeldhura Sunday and expressed solidarity with the ongoing strike.

After reaching Dadeldhura, the central leaders listened to the complaints of the local leaders and cadres against anomalies in active membership distribution in the district. Meanwhile, central leaders urged local leaders to halt the strike for the time being and give continuity to their agitation after the festivals.

Following the request of central leaders, Dadeldhura leaders and cadres halted their 11-day long agitation for the time being.
